Keeping Warm after Sandy

Hello everyone:)

the day before yesterday i saw this post on a message i received from Etsy.
"Lend a crafting hand to help out those affected by Hurricane Sandy. New York-based makers Brett Bara and Natalie Soud have launched the Make It Better Craftalong to collect warm winter items for people coping with the aftermath of the storm. The handmade hats, scarves, blankets, mittens, and socks that they collect will be distributed in partnership with a grassroots group on the ground in affected areas."
So i sewed yesterday these gloves and hat from an old sweater to help a child keep warm. I am going to ship the package this afternoon.

If you would like to participate too, then you should sew, knit or crochet something warm and send it to Natalie Soud, 310 West Broadway, New York, NY 10013 as soon as possible (the deadline is 16.11.2012).
